Climate Change Petition!!
Written by President
Climate change is and will increasingly be one of the biggest threats to global health.

Governments are will meet in Copenhagen this year to discuss how to respond to this global health threat, and YOU can put pressure on them to take effective action.

To help guide the position of the UK and other governments at these negotiations, the Climate and Health Council are calling for all health professionals to sign their pledge to prevent climate change at:

http://www.climateandhealth.org/getinvolved/pledge

Let's make sure the 'health voice' is heard in the lead up to the UN Copenhagen conference in Dec 2009 and a strong commitment is made to reduce carbon emissions.

Tell your friends and colleagues at home and abroad. Climate change is an international problem requiring an international solution. The Climate and Health Council is looking to broaden its international membership and create a global network to work together, lobbying against climate change for health.
